Overview[edit | edit source]

A quarry is a structure that uses pickaxes and generates stone, which can be used for the Trommel.

Stones quarry will generate:

  • Smooth Stone
  • Diorite
  • Andesite
  • Granite
  • Obsidian
Level Pickaxe Cost Required Technology
Level 1 Wooden Pickaxe N/A N/A
Level 2 Stone Pickaxe $10,000 Alloys
Level 3 Iron Pickaxe $25,000 Efficiency
Level 4 Diamond Pickaxe $50,000 Machinery

Strategic Goods[edit | edit source]

There are certain Strategic Goods that can be placed in the chest with the Pickaxes to boost speed and efficiency.

One doubles the chance of getting obsidian. This effect lasts for 300 seconds.

One gives you a 20% chance to roll an extra stone every time it processes one. The effect lasts for 300 seconds.

Upgrading[edit | edit source]

Can be upgraded using the /town upgrade buy quarry command.

Notes[edit | edit source]

-Enchants on pickaxes DO NOT WORK while in the quarry.

-Quarry generates stone at the same rate for all picks, but it is based on durability. So, a quarry will use up a Wooden Pickaxe quicker than it will a Diamond Pickaxe, and it will generate more stone with one Diamond Pickaxe than it will with a Wooden Pickaxe

-Remember: Though you can only have 1 Quarry per city, you can build multiple quarries next to eachother in another city, this is a good strategy used by competitive civs.
