Overview[edit | edit source]

The trade outpost is a tile improvement that claims a trade good and allows the trade good to be harvested. Trade goods are the 3 column bedrock block scattered around the map. It's important to remember that although there is no limit to how many Trade Outposts you can build, there is a limit on how many Tile Improvements you can build. For trade goods in the water you will need to use a Fishing Boat instead to harvest them.

Additional Info:
This improvement will center itself on the trade good chunk in addition to always facing EAST.

Benefits Of Trade[edit | edit source]

See the pages on Trade Goods for more information.

Placement Considerations[edit | edit source]

Like all Tile Improvements, trade outposts can be built anywhere inside your town's culture borders. If they are built outside the borders of your town, and enemies can use it for shelter as they are not protected plots. The structure should still function unless destroyed during war.
